Cast steel
Cast steel comes in many different alloys. The major distinctions are between unalloyed cast steel for general use, low alloy steel for refining, and (high) alloy qualities.
Unalloyed cast steel is widely used in mechanical and industrial engineering, where general, high mechanical properties are required.
Low alloy cast steel for refining and (high) alloy cast steel are desirable if specific requirements (heat resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. ) are required.
